Mule Days Festival in Bishop, California

About a week after returning from the Parkfield Blue Grass Festival, we took off on a weeklong camping trip to Bishop, California, for the 50th annual Mule Days Festival that took place over the Memorial Day weekend. This was another Greater Los Angeles Airstream Club gathering and it was a lot of fun! The festival featured mule and donkey events of all kinds and the scenery was gorgeous.

Happy New Year 2015!

Right after Christmas in 2014, we made a week long trek to Phoenix, Arizona to visit relatives. The RV parks we stayed in on our way there, in Phoenix and during our return were not very interesting. I’ll briefly mention the one in Phoenix only because we stayed there for four days. The other two were one night we need a place to stay campgrounds.

First Time Away From Home

The first time out in our new Airstream was to East Shore RV Park that is located within Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas, California. We picked this place because it was less than 30 minutes from home and about 30 minutes away from our Airstream dealer, just in case we had a problem.
